“THE NOTE“
This film is a collaboration between DJ & activist Chelsea Leyland, fashion designer Aliona Kononova, and myself. It was released on Valentine's Day last year with Aliona Kononovas Spring-Summer Collection.
It’s a simple story about a young woman in love. She sends an endless stream of love texts. Then waits in anticipation for her lover's reply. We see her in various parts of the house as the day progresses into night. This anticipation, waiting for a response from a new lover, is something most people can relate to. Unfortunately, he doesn’t reply but instead surprises her most romantically.
He sent a traditional letter in the mail — an envelope was filled with heart-shaped confetti.
